Yog Teacher’s Training (USA Yoga Alliance–Accredited)

You have three paths to choose from, depending on your experience level and goals. Each program weaves in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Hatha Flow, pranayama, yoga philosophy, anatomy, and teaching methodology.


1. Primary Series (RYT-200, 200 Hours)

Who It’s For

  • Absolute beginners.

  • Anyone who wants a solid foundation in yoga practice and teaching.

Duration & Format

  • 4 Weeks (in-person or online)

  • Batch size: 8–10 students.

  • If we exceed 10, an assistant teacher joins to ensure personalized attention.

Curriculum Highlights

  • Asanas & Alignment: Fundamentals of posture, safe modifications, and hands-on adjustments.

  • Pranayama & Breathwork: Simple breathing techniques to calm the mind and energize the body.

  • Shatkarma (Yogic Detox): Intro to cleansing practices like neti, kapalabhati, and more.

  • Yoga Anatomy & Physiology: Learn how muscles, joints, and organs function during yoga.

  • Yoga Philosophy & History: Foundations of Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras, the Eight Limbs of Yoga, and classical texts.

  • Teaching Methodology: How to plan a class, give clear cues, and adjust students safely.

Outcome

  • Certificate: RYT-200 (eligible for Yoga Alliance registration).

  • Confidence to lead basic Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa classes anywhere in the world.


2. Intermediate Series (RYT-300, 300 Hours)

Who It’s For

  • Anyone who has already completed RYT-200 with a qualified teacher.

  • Ashtanga Vinyasa practitioners ready to deepen their practice.

Duration & Format

  • 6 Weeks (preferably in-person; online only for theory)

  • Batch size: 8–10 students.

  • In-person practice is strongly encouraged to prevent injury.

Curriculum Highlights

  • Advanced Asanas & Transitions: Explore deeper backbends, arm balances, and the second half of Ashtanga Primary Series.

  • Advanced Pranayama & Breathwork: Mudras and bandhas to cultivate internal energy.

  • Deep Shatkarma Practices: Advanced cleanses for physical and energetic purity.

  • Yoga Anatomy & Physiology (Advanced): In-depth study of biomechanics, kinesiology, and subtle body mapping.

  • Yoga Philosophy & Sanskrit: Study of classical texts, mantras in original Sanskrit, and deeper philosophical debates.

  • Teaching Methodology (Advanced): Refined sequencing, hands-on assists, and building thematic classes.

Outcome

  • Certificate: RYT-300 (eligible for Yoga Alliance registration).

  • Ability to guide experienced students safely through intermediate and advanced practices.


3. Integrated Program (YTT-500, 500 Hours)

Who It’s For

  • Beginners who want the full 500-hour certification in one continuous program.

  • RYT-200 holders who wish to complete RYT-300 and merge into the 500-hour curriculum.

Duration & Format

  • 10 Weeks total (200-hour + 300-hour content combined)

  • Ideally in-person for the majority of intensive practice.

  • Batch size: 8–10 students.

  • Online is available for certain theory modules but in-person attendance is strongly recommended.

Curriculum Highlights

  • Everything from RYT-200 and RYT-300, plus:

    • Advanced Pranayama & Breathwork: Mastery of mudras and bandhas for deeper energetic work.

    • Advanced Shatkarma Practices: Incorporate golden needs, karmic cleanses, and subtle energy regulation.

    • Yoga Philosophy & Ethics (Yamas & Niyamas in Depth): How to embody yoga ethics personally and professionally.

    • Teaching Methodology for Specialized Classes: Workshops on prenatal, children, senior, and trauma-informed yoga.

    • Capstone Teaching Project: Design and lead a full 90-minute public class under supervision.

Outcome

  • Certificate: YTT-500 (eligible to register as RYT-500 with Yoga Alliance).

  • Qualified to teach any style, class level, or demographic—anywhere in the world.


How to Enroll in Yoga Teacher’s Training

  1. Check Prerequisites:

    • RYT-200: No experience needed.

    • RYT-300: Must hold RYT-200.

    • YTT-500: Can join as a beginner (completes RYT-200 → RYT-300) or enter after RYT-200.

  2. Choose Your Format:

    • In-person (Kathmandu) is ideal for hands-on practice.

    • Online options available for RYT-200 theory modules; RYT-300 & YTT-500 theory only.

  3. Submit Your Application:

    • We’ll share course fees, payment options (installments accepted), and next steps.

  4. Reserve Your Spot:

    • A non-refundable deposit secures your place.

    • Balance can be paid in installments up to one week before the program begins.
